土耳其政府公布了关于进口太阳能电池的新规定，并将在公布之日起30天内生效。
此前该国曾在2021年规定太阳能组件进口关税必须以公斤计，而不是像以前规定那样按平方米计算。根据政府的新算法，进口太阳能电池的最低价格将是$60/kg。
德国咨询公司KRC Energy的首席执行官Hakki Karacaoglan说，新规有利于本土制造商，可能会促成进口电池在土耳其光伏市场的份额下降。
“但按照新规的定义，$60/kg目前并不影响业务，因为一公斤电池算下来关税超过了60美元，”他告诉《光伏》杂志，“但如果多晶硅和太阳能电池价格将如预期的下降，或者政府将决定进一步提高60美元门槛，情况可能会改变。”
如果土耳其组件制造商决定进口超过$60/kg限额的太阳能电池，则将受到进口关税的影响。
目前，土耳其有两家制造商也生产或计划生产太阳能电池——安卡拉的Kalyon Solar Technologies和伊兹密尔的Smart Solar Technologies。Kalyon Solar已从土耳其政府获得76.2亿土耳其里拉（4.1亿美元）资金，以建立一个2 GW的垂直整合太阳能发电站，而Smart Solar Technologies已为一座2 GW电站获得37亿土耳其里拉。
