天合光能及其韩国竞争对手Hanwha Qcells透露，已就中国组件制造商在1月份提起的专利纠纷达成了和解协议。
两家公司在一份联合声明中表示已就其知识产权达成了专利许可和转让协议。
他们说，“协议允许两家公司使用彼此的太阳能专利，并分别放弃双方之间的所有未决案件，而且将继续在各个市场提供和支持各自的产品，以满足客户需求。”
天合光能在针对Hanwha Qcells的中国子公司——韩华新能源（启东）有限公司的专利侵权诉讼中表示，该韩企非法出口和销售太阳能组件的行为，侵犯了中国国家知识产权局2016年授予这家中国制造商的专利。
“该诉讼涉及Hanwha目前在中国生产并在全球销售的组件中常用的核心电池技术，”天合光能发言人曾告诉《光伏》杂志，“被控侵权的产品包括Q.PEAK DUO BLK M-G11A+、Q.PEAK DUO M-G11等关键产品。”
如果天合光能成功证明其在中国的诉讼主张，Hanwha Qcells可能被禁止在中国和其他国家生产和销售侵权产品，还可能因过去的生产和销售而面高额侵权赔偿。
而在去年12月，一家德国法院发布了一项初步禁令，命令天合光能停止在德国销售其Honey和Vertex X太阳能组件，因为涉嫌侵犯Hanwha Qcells的专利钝化技术。
10月下旬，Hanwha Solutions提交了一份初步禁令申请，声称天合光能（德国）在德国市场不当销售太阳能组件，表示天合光能电池板侵犯了其专有的Q.ANTUM钝化技术的一项专利——据称该技术在提高硅基太阳能电池的性能方面发挥着关键作用。
