印度调研机构Mercom India发布的最新市场报告称，2022年印度屋顶太阳能装机容量为1.6 GW，同比下降近6%。
该报告指出，全年约42%的装机容量来自工业领域。而住宅、商业和政府部门分别占到新增总容量的32%、25%和1%。
Mercom India透露，截至2022年12月31日，印度的累计屋顶太阳能装机容量接近8.8 GW。其中，古吉拉特邦的装机规模位列第一，占到全国累计屋顶太阳能装机容量的24%。其次是马哈拉施特拉邦和拉贾斯坦邦，分别占比14%和9%。
Mercom Capital Group首席执行官Raj Prabhu表示：“[今年]印度出台了限制供应和影响组件成本的政策，这一挑战让印度屋顶太阳能市场错失良机。尽管障碍重重，装机量仍与上一年几乎持平。强劲的基本面继续推动着工商业太阳能装机容量走高。而随着定价和供应挑战的缓和，我们预计2023年将恢复增长。”
印度政府对屋顶太阳能项目征收基本关税（BCD）且实施型号和制造商批准清单（ALMM）增加了该国太阳能组件价格和供应的波动性。
Mercom India表示：“如果不是因为实施基本关税导致项目成本飙升，且安装商清楚地了解哪些并网屋顶太阳能项目需要ALMM清单中的组件的话，装机量可能会更高。”
该调研公司表示，2022年10至12月期间，印度新增屋顶太阳能483 MW，其中大约56%来自住宅领域，而工商业领域占比为43%。
