法国共有5663 MW的大规模可再生能源发电厂完成了并网，包括大约1382 MW的风力发电量和4281 MW光伏发电量。
自发自用项目总容量约为2649 MW。
APPA Renovables总干事José María González敦促法国政府化解潜在的产能过剩和价格蚕食问题。由于该国累计光伏发电量已经超过25 GW，如果不在储能、电网扩容与管理方面加大投资的话，光伏系列业主们仍将面临低价和太阳能削减的巨大风险。
据APPA Renovables透露，在过去一年里太阳能价格一度跌至10欧元（10.64美元）/MWh以下。该协会表示，今年夏季的消耗量可能达到45 GW，届时情况将会变得更糟。
