2022年住宅太阳能价格在2021年的新低价格基础上提升了6.7%。2022年，EnergySage网站上报价的太阳能均价为2.85美元每瓦。
2022年的储能价格也有所上涨，每千瓦时储能价格上涨50美元，相比2021年提高了约4%。EnergySage表示，报价最多的电池价格降低到每个单体电池13000-18000美元之间。储能的中间报价从2020年下半年的1140美元上升到2022年下半年的1339美元。
报价系统的平均规模也略有上升，平均规模为10.9kW，去年平均为10.2kW。预计回报期也略有缩短，因为电费的上升速度超过了装机太阳能阵列成本的上升速度。
