日本化学公司和太阳能组件制造商钟渊化工(Kaneka)宣布,日本汽车和电池制造商丰田汽车公司选择在其一款电动汽车上使用钟渊化工生产的180cm²,26.63%效率的晶体硅太阳能电池,该款电池采用了异质结和背接触技术。
钟渊化工(Kaneka)表示,这些电池将被特别用于丰田普锐斯PHEV汽车的车顶玻璃。该公司在一份声明中表示:“丰田公司在丰田bZ4X上使用了我们公司生产的太阳能电池,除了具有高转换效率和我们专有技术的优秀外观设计以外,这款电池还采用了曲面设计,可以安装在车身上,因此丰田公司选择在其汽车上安装我们的太阳能电池。”同时,其还指出,背接触设计电池的表面没有布线,外观类似于汽车车顶玻璃。
Kaneka的太阳能电池多年来一直被公认为是工业和研究领域中最高效的晶体硅光伏设备。然而,这一局面被中国制造商隆基(Longi)打破,去年11月,隆基公司宣布,其基于全尺寸硅片的未指定异质结(HJT)太阳能电池的功率转换效率达到了26.81%,并已实现量产。 这家日本制造商从2019年开始供应基于其电池技术的双面异质结太阳能组件。
在2月份发布的最新财务报告中,该公司表示准备在本财年开始运营一条额外的异质结光伏电池板生产线,以应对强劲的市场需求。该公司还表示:“我们计划在今年春天开始全面交付车载光伏产品。”
