AEMO首席执行官Daniel Westerman于5月15日在悉尼的一场论坛上说,在过去一年里可再生能源项目削减量几乎上升了40%。影响最大的州是维多利亚州和新南威尔士州,困境也延伸到了昆士兰州部分地区。
Westerman说:“我们可以从控制室里看到,因为没有足够输电能力,越来越多太阳能和风能发电被削减。
从1月到3月,从维州到新州和塔斯马尼亚州的连接分别有42%和57%的时间处于极限状态。他说:“在太阳产生自由电子期间,连接到新州的线路有三分之二时间处于约束状态,到塔州线路的这一时间超过80%。换句话说,我们部分电力高速公路处于瘫痪状态。”
澳大利亚清洁能源金融公司(CEFC)首席执行官Ian Learmonth说,澳大利亚远低于实现其气候目标所需的水平——即到2030年减排43%,国家电网中可再生能源发电量超过80%。
Learmonth说:“为实现围绕可再生能源和减排的宏伟目标,我们需要安装约29 GW的大规模可再生能源,大致为每年3.6 GW或每月300 MW,相当于每月一个规模可观的风电场。”
