Voltfang首席执行官David Oudsandji表示：“Voltfang户外系统是在不断电的情况下户外使用存储容量的完美解决方案。我们已经开发出一套完整的解决方案，可以随时使用，且不需要复杂的安装。这套存储系统的设计能够承受极端的气候条件，无论是西班牙炽热的正午阳光还是斯堪的纳维亚半岛的冬天。”
总部位于德国亚琛的Voltfang利用回收的电动汽车电池制造固定式存储系统。该公司通过专门的软件估算电池寿命，并称这些设备的使用寿命与新系统相当。Voltfang的系统现已应用于德国的各种商业设施。
