2023年上半年意大利约新增2.3 GW光伏系统容量，较去年同期约增长12%。截至2023年6月底，该国累计光伏装机容量约为27.4 GW。
住宅户用装机容量约占今年上半年新增容量的47%，而近期增长得益于工商业系统（C&I）和规模超1 MW的公用事业规模太阳能项目。
“与今年第一季度相比，工商业系统和规模超1MW的公用事业规模太阳能项目在2023年第二季度的并网电量分别增长了49%和89%，”Italia Solare称。
自2022年7月以来一直停滞的10 MW以上规模发电厂并网在2023年第二季度重新启动。特别是，位于皮埃蒙特和普利亚的两座10 MW发电厂和位于撒丁岛的一座36 MW发电厂完成了新增并网。
相反地，由于超级津贴到期停发，住宅户用领域新增装机容量从2023年第一季度的569 MW略降至第二季度的528 MW。
在新增装机总量中占据最高份额的区域包括伦巴第大区（429 MW）、威尼托（353 MW和艾米利亚-罗马涅（235 MW）。
伦巴第以3.58 GW累计装机容量成功卫冕，加大了与普利亚地区之间的差距，后者并网光伏容量为3.18 GW。2023年第一季度，伦巴第以429 MW并网电量领先，威尼托和艾米利亚-罗马涅分别以353 MW和235 MW位居其后。
