BJMC近期发表声明称，它将向部署在孟加拉国各地的13家黄麻厂购买90 MW的屋顶光伏发电量。
BJMC主席Anis Mahmud告诉《光伏》杂志：“我们将根据为期20年的合同向这些工厂购买电力。”
他指出，这些项目开发商是通过竞争性招标选定的，其中包括六家外国投标方及其当地合资伙伴。
Mahmud补充道：“我们已将他们的提案提交电力部进行评估并授予合同。”但他没有透露更多细节。
此次投标方包括正泰新能源孟加拉国子公司（中国）、Solarion CNI创意中心（印度尼西亚）、哥本哈根城市太阳能公园BD财团（丹麦）、Top Points Trading（阿曼）、Lesso财团（新加坡）和BAY Trina财团（中国）。
今年六月份，孟加拉国政府采取多项措施，提高国内独立发电商（IPP）在可再生能源市场中的份额。政府允许这些IPP在拥有可再生能源项目的公司中持有100%的股份，而取消了原来80%的外商投资比例限制。
此前，国内独立发电商还获准通过其持有51%股份的国际财团来参与项目，而外国开发商的持股比例上限为20%。
