法国原子能和可替代能源委员会（CEA）下属子公司Heliup，已从一组投资者那里获得了1000万欧元（1050万美元）的资金。该组投资者由Starquest Capital牵头，其中包括EIT InnoEnergy、法国巴黎银行投资部、房地产集团Idec和法国国家投资银行等。
该公司表示，计划利用这笔资金在法国建设一处初始年产能为100 MW的轻型太阳能电池板生产设施。该设施计划将于2024年投入运营。
Stykon超轻面板重量仅为5公斤/平方米，专为无法支撑传统框架面板的三级建筑的平屋顶而设计。
“长期以来，我们一直在寻找一种能让我们在光伏领域站稳脚跟的技术。我们发现Heliup满足了市场上极少被满足的需求：一种具有与传统面板相当的阻力和性能的超轻面板，”Starquest董事总经理Emmanuel Gaudé说，“在代表数亿平方米的屋顶市场中，这是一项真正的突破，但由于缺乏经济上可行的解决方案，目前尚不为人所知。”
Heliup表示，计划在未来将产能扩大到200 MW或300 MW，同时探索法国以外的国际项目。
