该项目将坐落在德国梅克伦堡-前波美拉尼亚州的巴托市。
该发电站是Encavis基础设施基金四期（EIF IV）的建设项目，占地205公顷。一期建设计划于本月开始，预计于2025年夏季完工。二期建设进度计划尚未确定。该太阳能项目的总装机容量预计为260MW，年发电量预计为270GWh。
该公司声称其拥有约2.2GW的光伏装机容量，分布在200多个项目中，并表示希望通过巴托项目展示其“在可再生能源领域进行高要求投资的能力”。
董事会发言人Karsten Mieth表示，“根据我们的经验和知识，我们将确保该太阳能园区的运营不仅具有生态效益，而且具有经济效益。”
对于这种规模的项目，不可能利用德国可再生能源法案（EEG）提供的资金进行再融资，但Encavis尚未提供任何关于电力销售的信息。
建成后，Witznitz太阳能园区有望成为德国规模最大的太阳能项目，可为电网增加超过600MW的电力。
