Endesa通过其西班牙子公司Enel Green Power建造了一个基于钒氧化还原液流电池的储能系统,该系统位于西班牙马略卡岛的Son Orlandis太阳能电站。
这个1.1MW/5.5MWh的电池项目是该公司在西班牙应用此项技术建设的首个储能电站。公司表示这是欧洲与光伏电站相匹配的最大钒液流电池。
公司在声明中说道,“这种电池的优势是有20多年的使用寿命,且不会有任何性能下降,使其在此情况下能够保障超过6小时的长时间储存。此外,它们还有巨大的安全优势。”
这个储能系统连接了一个3.34MW的太阳能电站。该系统的蓄放电操作基于可再生生产和网络需求进行了优化,因此能够满足高峰需求。
Son Orlandis电池系统是与加拿大制造商Largo共同建造,Largo提供了自己的Vcharge冷却系统。Endesa表示,该系统的电解液有着“无限”的使用寿命,在其使用寿命结束后,也很容易重复利用,且无任何性能下降,也不会对环境造成不良影响。
Endesa在最近的可再生能源拍卖中为巴利阿里岛赢得了72.4MW的太阳能容量。Orlandis光伏电站是其中一个拍得的项目,并在2022年试运行。
