Ademe希望提高企业和机构对“漂绿”的认识。“漂绿”是指利用虚假或过于有限的环境承诺来销售或宣传产品、服务或企业形象，是一种欺骗性商业行为。
2023年7月，该机构发布一份反“漂绿”指南，帮助企业理解这个术语，了解避免“漂绿”的主要步骤。
“这适用于任何可能误导公众的信息，无论其条款和条件如何，这些信息涉及产品或服务的真正生态质量，或者涉及一个组织可持续发展方法的真实情况，”Ademe表示，“必须特别警惕社交网络上出现的帖子。道德准则适用于所有信息，不管其通过何种方式传播。”
该机构本周发布了该指南的更新版本，并将其提交公众征询（将于4月30日结束）。该机构还在其网站上发起了一项在线测试，帮助企业和机构进行初步自我评估。
Ademe表示，“这项测试不会颁发标签，测试结果也不是制裁，而是作为一种手段，提高企业和机构对‘漂绿’问题的认识，同时提供完善实践的途径。”
打击“漂绿”的法律武器包括消费者法规、环境法规、特定环境要求、法令和欧洲法规。
在法国，2021年《气候保护法案》规范了“洗绿”行为，为打击误导性商业行为提供了法律框架。这些实践包括通过作为或不作为，对商品或服务的基本特征和广告商的承诺作出虚假声明或陈述，而这可能会误导消费者。
TotalEnergies目前正受到两项关于“洗绿”指控的调查——一项在巴黎法院，另一项在南泰尔检察官办公室。
