Voltaic Systems是为远程工业和基础设施设备提供太阳能光伏系统的美国开发商，为其Core Solar Power System系列增加了用于跟踪电池健康状况的监测软件。
所售的Core Solar Power产品具有光伏面板、集成防水锂电池和安装系统，作为传统铅酸蓄电池的替代品，为蜂窝路由器、网络设备、空气质量监测器、户外安全摄像机、灌溉系统、通信网关和远程照明等基础设施设备供电。
新的监测软件可提供有关电池、电池温度、充电状态、太阳能电池板发电量和设备耗电量的信息。
Voltaic Systems公司首席运营官Jeff Crystal告诉《光伏》杂志：“鉴于此类工业物联网应用的数据价值和远程特性，我们开发了电池健康监测系统，以帮助客户了解其部署情况并做出决策。”
监测系统通过蜂窝网络提供状态快照以及时间序列数据（见下图），可用于警告潜在停电并提供可能的纠正措施。Crystal说：“有次，一家客户在大量降雨的一周修改了耗电量，以保持正常运行时间。它既适用于单个系统，也适用于管理远程设备群。”
Core Solar Power System除了电池和光伏电池板外，还有集成式最大功率点跟踪（MPPT）充电控制器。电池板功率从25 W到200 W不等，配套电池功率从18 ah（5千克）到100 ah（33千克）不等。尺寸从307 mm x 507 mm x 30 mm到586 mm x 980 mm x 30 mm不等。
Voltaic Systems产品常被集成到客户既有的解决方案中，比如下图所示的来自加利福尼亚州Clarity Movement Co.公司的空气质量监测系统。
