2023-24财务年度，印度太阳能组件出口额上升91%，达到了19亿美元。美国市场是最大的出口目的地，占印度总光伏组件出口的98.5%。根据印度商业与工业部的数据，销往南非的出口额达到473万美元。
2023-24财务年度，印度的光伏组件进口额为43.5351亿美元，相比2022-23年度的9.4352亿美元上升了361%。印度从中国的进口额总共为28.5074亿美元，占印度组件总进口额的66%左右。
越南是印度的第二大组件供应商。印度从越南进口的光伏面板为9.3505亿美元。印度从马来西亚的进口额为2.3799亿美元。
2024财年，印度太阳能电池的进口额也增加到18.5305亿美元，年同比增长41%。
中国仍是印度市场的最大太阳能电池供应商。2024财年，印度从中国进口的光伏电池几乎翻倍，从2023财年的5.8145亿美元上升到10.3598亿美元。
马来西亚和泰国是印度的第二和第三大太阳能电池来源，分别向印度出口了3.1181亿美元和2.4875亿美元的太阳能电池。
