在与VDE Americas合作研究雹灾对太阳能装置的影响后,FTC Solar开发出防雹收起策略,通过太阳能组件定位来最大限度地减少冰雹和大风的直接影响。
该自动防雹收起解决方案与FTC Solar的Sunops集成,后者是一个基于云的光伏资产监控解决方案,旨在管理和改善太阳能资产性能。FTC报告称,该软件考虑了先进的跟踪算法和适当的跟踪器收起方式等因素,以应对极端天气事件。
FTC Solar首席营销官Ken Kozizki告诉《光伏》杂志美国版,跟踪器可根据气象预测数据,迅速移动到大于50度的防雹收起位置,使组件朝向避风方向。该防雹算法由FTC从行业领先的第三方供应商处获得的气象数据驱动,通过多个雷达对天气状况加以分析,从而形成对单个地点的准确预测。
Kozizki说,还有一项功能允许发电站经理手动移动到最近的高角度收起位置,以进一步减少收起时间,还可根据风险偏好和现场位置,包括冰雹大小、概率和半径等因素,定制收起阈值。
