圭亚那公用事业公司（GPL）已开始为三个公用事业规模的光伏和电池储能项目招标，总发电量和储能容量分别为15 MWp和22 MWh。
圭亚那政府已在圭亚那-挪威合作项目下获得融资，并打算将部分收益用于统称为“圭亚那公用事业级太阳能光伏项目”（GUYSOL）的工程、采购和建设合同付款。
根据美洲开发银行（IDB）发布的信息，项目融资将按IDB政策管理。
GPL现正就三座公用事业规模的地面光伏电站和电池储能系统的工程设计、采购和施工向符合资格的合格投标人进行密封招标。
招标将通过IDB《货物和工程采购政策》规定的国际竞争性招标（ICB）程序进行，面向来自政策中所列的符合资格国家的所有投标人。投标人需满足包括商业登记或公司注册文件、有效的圭亚那税务局和国家保险计划合规证明、VAT注册证书（对国内投标人而言）、经验、技术和财务能力等的资质要求。
有意者可向GPL购买全套英文投标文件，费用为GYD 20,000（$95.84）且不予退还。
投标必须在9月26日开标日之前进行。所有投标必须附带$250,000或等值的可自由兑换货币的投标保证金。
