西班牙独立发电商Grenergy公司已为智利阿塔卡马绿洲项目一期和二期完成了融资，该项目最终将建成世界上规模最大的电池储能系统。
阿塔卡马绿洲项目的储能容量为4.1GWh，太阳能容量约为1GW，分五期建设。目前正在建设的基亚瓜连接项目（即一期）计划于2024年底启动，而接下来的三个阶段将于2025年进行连接。
周三，Grenergy公司表示，其已与法国巴黎银行、法国外贸银行企业及投资银行、法国兴业银行、加拿大丰业银行和三井商业银行等金融机构签署了3.45亿美元的绿色贷款协议，以及其他补充信贷额度。
这笔融资涵盖了项目的前两个阶段，相当于220MWp的太阳能和1.24WGh的储能。
根据该这一协议，Grenergy公司表示，其已成为全球第一家与国际银行财团签署如此规模的太阳能和电池混合项目融资协议的公司。
Greenergy公司执行主席David Ruiz de Andrés表示：“这一业务表明，银行对太阳能发电厂与储能系统的结合发展充满信心，也对Grenergy公司的商业模式充满信心。Grenergy公司正朝着成为全球储能系统领导者的方向不断取得进展。”
Greenergy公司将为该项目拨款高达14亿美元，该项目75%的能源合同已经通过各种长期购电协议（PPA）的方式签订。
