Yashika能源系统公司与德国Next2Sun公司和印度Wattkraft公司合作，在印度引进Next2Sun公司的垂直太阳能技术。他们在近期于印度古吉拉特邦举行的2024年全球可再生能源投资者会议期间，签署了合作谅解备忘录（MoU）。
Next2Sun公司垂直安装的双面太阳能组件允许在同一块土地上继续耕种，同时进行高效的太阳能发电，改变了印度的农业经济，推动了能源独立和气候行动。
“该伙伴关系旨在解决传统太阳能装置对土地使用日益增长的隐疾，这些装置经常取代宝贵的农业用地，”Yashika能源系统公司的Yash Kishorkumar Gupta说，“通过安装Next2Sun公司创新的垂直双面农业光伏系统，我们将实现双重土地利用——既能让农民们继续从事农业活动，同时也能产生可再生能源。”
Gupta补充说，在印度和德国政府和农业协会的支持下，他们的目标是在印度各地启动试点项目，并计划在全国范围内推广这项技术。试点项目从100 kWp至500 kWp不等，同时还将展示垂直双面太阳能技术在印度不同地区的有效性。
Next2Sun公司的垂直双面太阳能技术允许在垂直方向安装太阳能电池板并利用面板两侧进行发电，同时，该技术让农民们可以继续在面板下方种植农作物。
“在政府和农业社区的支持下，我们相信这些项目将为印度的可持续发展树立新的标杆。我们相信，这将激励其他人采用类似的解决方案，并改变我们对土地使用和能源生产的看法，”Next2Sun公司首席财务官Sascha Krause-Tünker表示。
