挪威可再生能源公司Alotta与挪威渔业养殖公司Emilsen Fisk签署了一份合同，在其位于挪威Båfjordstranda的养鱼场部署Alotta的浮动太阳能解决方案之一。
该太阳能阵列项目位于挪威特伦德拉格郡的Nærøysund，一旦交付，将成为世界最北端的浮动太阳能发电厂。Emilsen Fisk公司首席执行官Roy Emilsen表示，该系统计划将于下个月投入使用。

Alotta公司首席销售官Egil Hjelmeland在接受《光伏》杂志采访时表示，Alotta太阳能混合120系统功率为160 kW，预计每年将为Emilsen Fisk公司生产电量
约80,000至90,0000千瓦时，可帮助该农业公司显著降低柴油消耗量和现场二氧化碳排放量。
“由于日光的季节性变化，该系统将在夏季提供最高输出电量，因为夏季白天长，太阳辐射高，可以在很大程度上实现无排放的运行，” Hjelmeland解释说，“在冬季，发电量将会降低，但该系统仍将有助于Emilsen Fisk公司减少对柴油的依赖。”
Hjelmeland补充说，浮动太阳能系统将现有的养鱼场作为浮动结构，通过减少柴油发电机的噪音来改善工作环境，同时还可以最大限度地降低与燃料运输有关的船只通行量。
挪威政府的绿色转型机构Enova，通过其气候和能源基金，提供了45%的资金来帮助实现该项目。
所涉及的技术最初是由浮动太阳能专家Ocean Sun公司开发的，该公司将其专利技术授权给了Alotta公司。
Alotta公司首席执行官Kari-Elin Hildre表示，与Emilsen Fisk公司的合同，展示了水产养殖业在向更可持续的能源解决方案过渡方面，是如何引领潮流的。
Hildre补充说：“我们与Emilsen的合作，加上Enova的支持，可以被视为一个绝佳案例，展示了我们公司是如何在一个对环境和当地社区都有重大影响的行业中推动绿色转型的。”
