Orsted与英国太阳能开发商PS Renewables已申请在英格兰诺丁汉郡建设一个740MW太阳能+电池蓄能系统（BESS）项目。该项目投产后有望成为英国规模最大的太阳能项目，具体取决于项目时间表。
One Earth Solar Farm是PS Renewables在英国开发的四个装机容量超过50MW的太阳能项目之一，也标志着Orsted首次涉足英国太阳能市场。该开发商表示，这家丹麦跨国公司将在项目达到关键里程碑时采取“分阶段持股”的运营方式。
由于规模庞大，One Earth Solar Farm项目必须先由英国规划督察局进行评估，然后由英国政府颁发同意令。规划督察局须在2025年3月27日之前决定是否将该项目认定为国家重大基础设施建设项目（NSIP）。若是，该项目将进一步征求公众意见，并进入长达六个月的审查期。此后，规划督察局将向英国政府能源大臣提出建议，由能源大臣做出最终决定。该项目已获得了740MW电网连接。
PS Renewables对国家重大基础设施建设项目的流程颇为熟悉，其500MW的Sunnica Energy Farm项目已在2024年7月获得了开发同意令（DCO）。英国新政府在2024年大选胜选后短时间内签发了一系列开发同意令，其中就包括该“太阳能+蓄能”项目的开发同意令。
Orsted此前曾表示，该项目将有助于其实现在2030年之前达到17.5GW陆上装机容量的全球目标。如果该项目能在本十年末之前投产发电，将对英国政府在2030年之前新增约30GW太阳能容量的目标（该目标是大不列颠电网脱碳计划的一部分）做出重大贡献。
