比利时跨国公司Eternit的巴西子公司已宣布“光伏产品线停产”决定。这一公告由董事会于2025年3月11日会议期间根据巴西证券期货交易所（CVM）第44号决议作出，面向其股东和广大市场。
该公司表示：“近年来，Eternit一直在寻求各种途径来提升其光伏产品线的竞争力。尽管公司为实现这一目标付出了不懈努力，但这一产品线仍未实现商业可行性，因此，公司经审慎评估后决定终止该业务板块。这一决定受到了来自中国市场的光伏面板竞争的影响。”
公司补充称，这一决定的财务影响“已反映在2024年12月31日的其他收入和费用中，涉及金额共计1,710万巴西雷亚尔（297万美元），对固定资产、存货、担保准备金和赔偿金产生影响。”
Eternit曾因在其纤维水泥屋顶中使用石棉而陷入危机，后于2019年实现转型发展，同年即在圣保罗南美太阳能展览会上推出采用巴西本土研发技术并通过国家计量、质量与技术研究院（Inmetro）认证的光伏瓦产品。该公司去年宣布在巴西多个项目中应用该光伏瓦系统，并于2024年9月发布本土化生产的光伏建筑一体化（BIPV）光伏模块。
