比利时、英国和法国市场在3月30日出现了负电价，而荷兰和德国市场也在3月28日记录了负电价。葡萄牙市场上周连续三天出现负电价，西班牙市场则连续五天出现负电价。
AleaSoft的数据显示，葡萄牙和西班牙市场在3月30日达到了史上最低的小时电价。西班牙在14:00至15:00的电价记录为-5.21欧元（-5.74美元）/MWh，葡萄牙在11:00至12:00的电价达到了-4.00欧元/MWh。
上周，负电价的涌现导致欧洲大部分主要市场的周平均电价低于95欧元/MWh。但意大利市场的情况例外，其周平均电价达到了119.27欧元/MWh。北欧市场的周平均电价继续保持最低水平，仅为24.96欧元/MWh。
与前一周相比，AleaSoft注意到比利时、荷兰、法国和德国市场的周平均电价有所上升，而英国、意大利、北欧、葡萄牙和西班牙市场的周平均电价均有下降。
AleaSoft表示，周度天然气和二氧化碳排放配额价格的下降以及电力需求的减少导致一些市场的电价降低，而风能发电量的减少导致其他市场的价格有所上涨。
该咨询公司预测，4月第一周的情况将喜忧参半，法国和德国的电价预计将下跌，而葡萄牙和西班牙的电价将回升。
3月的第四周，葡萄牙和西班牙的太阳能发电量也有所增加，导致这些市场的电价下跌。相比之下，上周法国、德国和意大利的太阳能发电量有所下降。
AleaSoft预计，德国在4月第一周的太阳能发电量将增加，而意大利和西班牙将减少。
